J-SLIM is an artist that was destined for success. His lyrical ability and delicate singing voice was develop at a young age and only continued to grow. As a child he grew up in New Orleans and Lafayette, Louisiana split between his father and mother. His father lived in Meterie (a rural community in New Orleans) and work for the New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson as a car dealer for many years.

Being musically inclined during the duration of his high school years, he performed all over the state to display his talent and versatility. By the age of 17, he was able to produce his own music using several different musical programs, record, mix/master, and publish songs and albums internationally through the infamous World Wide Web. Being awarded with a Recording  Contract with back then indie label Trill Entertainment (home to artist Lil Boosie, Webbie and more) he had to depart for the military due his lack of financial stability.

Now 23 and fresh out of the military (Navy), he is back to tear up the airwaves with melodies that could make a scarecrow move, lyrics that could influence a depressed crowd, and the determination of more than 10 artist combined. It's certainly only a matter of time before I am considered a mainstream artist. Stay tuned to find out why he isn't PROCRASTINATING NO LONGER!!!
